Hi, I'm Heather! I have a degree in Fashion Design and Production, and over 25 years of experience in the Bridal Industry, mainly doing alterations on wedding dresses and formal wear. When my oldest kids were in high school, I spent a lot of time helping their theater department with costumes for their musicals and shows. Over the past few years, I have gotten involved in dancewear at my daughter's dance studio and have discovered the need for quality custom designed and fitted dance costumes in my area, so I decided to create my company, Dancewear By Heather!  It has been an exciting journey, and I have found it to be a wonderful extension of my creative passions! My main goal is to work with my customers and their choreographers to create something beautiful that will best showcase their competitive dances.  I also provide needed alterations on existing costumes or can add embellishments to elevate the design of something you already have.
